The Hervormde Gemeente of Wijngaarden congregates in the fifteenth-century church in the centre of the village. Wijngaarden is a small municipality with agrarian roots in the Alblasserwaard, with just over 700 inhabitants. The commission for Mixtuur Orgels was to build an organ that would fit in with the features of the historic church’s gallery. Mixtuur Orgels designed a suitable organ case and built a two-manual instrument with free pedal in Baroque style.
