What is Hauptwerk?
Mixtuur organs work with Hauptwerk software, a powerful virtual organ platform based on MIDI technology. Within this program, you can load sample sets of well-known pipe organs. The sound of every single pipe has been recorded individually, capturing the start of the tone, its full resonance and its release. This creates a vivid, lifelike sound. When you play, a staccato note sounds naturally different from a portato note, just as on a real pipe organ.
