Classical organs

Mixtuur offers different organs. We have many different models available in our range. You can choose from the classical organs and modern organs. They are both available for you.

Classical organs

An organ is a classical musical instrument mainly used in churches. It is an old instrument with a long history. The first organs were introduced around 246 BC. Organs were used to accompany hymns and were soon placed in churches. Over the years, the organ has been improved and the mechanism has been adjusted. The melodies are even more graceful and allow unique effects and sounds.

Hauptwerk technology

Hauptwerk is a software for organs. This program can be installed on any organ, including classical organs. It is possible to load sample sets so that you can ‘replay’ the unique sounds of your favorite organs. Sample sets are recordings of existing organs and each individual pipe is recorded. You can hardly separate it from the original.

Classical organs with the Hauptwerk technology

Classical organs are beautiful instruments! They are often very large, robust and equipped with beautiful, long pipes that each produce a unique sound. Nowadays it is possible to equip these organs with Hauptwerk technology. This technology can be installed on your organ to make use of more than 500 audio channels. Hauptwerk is very user-friendly and can be operated by anyone using the ‘simple’ touchscreen.
